For one week each July, the Club hosts an open tournament that attracts bowlers from many parts of the UK. Bowlers from far and wide participate, typical statistics being over 200 bowlers from approximately 40 clubs.
The Open Tournament for 2012 runs from 8th to 14th July.
There are competitions for:
Men’s Singles
Men’s Pairs
Ladies’ Singles
Mixed Pairs
Open Triples
Throughout the week, hot and cold food is always available from about midday until close of play. The bar will also be open during
these times. The entry fee for all tournament competitions is £3.00 per person per event and the programme costs £1.50. A Ladies’ Open Pairs Tournament is held on one day each September. During 2011, this will take place on
